Sujit cha pi raha tha aur TV me ek Hindi film dekh raha tha. Achanak uske moble me ring bajta hain, usne aprasanna hoker phone uthata hain.
SUJIT
Hello! Kaun bol raha hain?
DINESH
Main Dinesh bol raha hu. Aaap ne Accounts Manager job ke liye interview diya than a?
Sujit ko interest bad jata hain.
SUJIT
Ha! Main select ho giya kya?
DINESH
Ha! Aapne select ho gaya. Kaal ekbar aakar mujhse mil sakta hain kya?
SUJIT
Kyo nahi? Jarur ayunga. To mera Appointment Letter milega na?
DINESH
Uske liye to apko bulaya gaya hain. Company chahata hain ki aap jitna jaldi hoga job pe join kar le, utna achha hain.
SUJIT
Ok. Main bahut jaldi join ho jaunga. Aap kya HR manager ho?
DINESH
Yes! Sahi pakra.
SUJIT
Wow! To ek bat puch raha hu ki mujhe kitna salary offer kiya hain?
DINESH
Homlogo ke company ke set salary structure ke hisab se apko Rs. 9 Lakh annual salary package milega.
SUJIT
Achha to mahina me kitna? 
DINESH
Karib Rs. 75,000/- Gross.
SUJIT
Thank you very much Dinesh. To main kaal kitna baje milu aur company ke address to same rahega jidhar main interview ke liye pahale aaya tha.
DINESH
Aaap mujhe 10 baje same address me milo. Thik hain.
SUJIT
Ok. Sure.

SCENES 2 - INT. - ROOM - NIGHT
Sujit ne film dekhna chalu kiya aur Kishore Kumar ka popular ganan shunkar Khushi me dance karta hain. Phir Sujit uske wife ko phone karta hain aur khush khabar deta hain.
SUJIT
Mira! Mujhe job mil gaya. Kaal jakar milne ke liye bola.
MIRA
Kya baat hain? To kaun sa job?
SUJIT
Wohi Accounts Manager
MIRA
Bahut achha khabar. To kitna salary de raha hain?
SUJIT
Mira, mujhe to bishwas e nahi ho raha hain ki mujhe mahina me Rs.75,000/- milega.
MIRA
Thik hain. Kaal jakar milo aur jabtak join nahi karoge, tab tak kisiko mat batao. Homlogoko kapal khota hain. Chij hath me aakar bhi nikal jata hain.
SUJIT
Ekdom thik baat bola. Chalo chodta hu. Phir baad me.
MIRA
Bye.

SCENE 3 - INT.- ROOM - NIGHT

Sujit phone rakhta hain aur film dekhna chalu karta hain. Ek minit baar phir phone aata hain.Sujit phone uthakar dekhta hain ki Maa ne call kiya hain.
SUJIT
Bolo Maa, kaise ho?
Maa ke rone ka awaz aata hain.
SUJIT
Kya hua? Bolta kyo nahi? Kuch to bolo? Kuch bura khabar hain kya?
MOTHER
Ha Sujit, Tumhara pitaji aab nahi hain. Uska jor se rone ka awaz aata hain.
SUJIT
Kya bol rahe ho Maa, Kya hua tha pitaji ko?
MOTHER
Ei to ek andha ghonta pahale tumhara pitaji homlogo se batchit kar raha tha. Usne tera bare me bhi bol raha tha ki tujhe ek achha job ka bahut jarurat hain. Ghor paribar hain.
SUJIT
Phir kya hua?
MOTHER
Tumhara pitaji achanak heart attack me chair se gir giya. Main jakar dekte dekhtei usene dom tod diya.
Mother phir rote rahata hain.
SUJIT
Phir?
MOTHER
BAD me doctor aakar death certificate diya.
SUJIT
Mujhe bahut bura lag raha hain Maa. Main etna dur me hu ki sochke bhi dekh nahi sakta hu.
MOTHER
Nahi Sujit, Tujhe kaisa bhi korke kal idhar aana padega. Tu bada ladka hain, Bap ka muha me aag to tuhi lagayega.
SUJIT
Ha Maa! Main dekhta hu. Jitna jaldi hoga, main Kolkata aa jata hu.
MOTHER
Dekh beta. Mujhe malum hain ki tujhe problem hain, lekin main kya karu. Tera bhi to baap hain.
SUJIT
Maa, chinta mat karo. Main kaisa bhi karke kal aata hu.
MOTHER
Ha Sujit, Aa ja.

Sujit ne phone rakhta hain aur TV off karta hain. Usne Dinesh ko phone lagata hain.
SUJIT
Dinesh! Main kal nahi aa sakta hu. Do week ke baad aakar join kar raha hu, chalega?
DINESH
Bilkul nahi. Homlog chahata hu ki aap ek-do din mei job me join kore. Kam ka pressure abhi jyada hain.
SUJIT
Mera father off ho giya hain isliye mujhe kaal hi Kolkata jana padega. Main kya karu mujhe kuch samajh me nahi aa raha hain.
DINESH
Main samajhta hu ki aapke father expire ho giye, isliye aapko immediate join korne ko nahi hoga. Lekin hamara company nahi manega. Dekho aap kaisa bhi korke kal-parshu join ho jao, nahi to homlogoko dusra aadmi lena padega.
Sujit chup rahata hain.
DINESH
Boliye Sujit, Kya koroge?
SUJIT
Itna jaldi possible nahi hain, mujhe thoda time chahiye.
Dinesh ne phone cut deta hain.
SUJIT (Self)
Maine kisi ka kabil nahi hu. Mera kismet bhi eisa khota hain ki har swapno bastav ke samne kho jata hain.

Achanak Sujit bahut dukh me floor por gir jata hain. Usko shar me chot lagta hain aur who jor se ro raha hain.
